Mid-term evaluation of PRIME
The Pastoralists Resiliency Improvement and Market Expansion (PRIME) project is USAID’s main Feed The Future project in pastoralist areas of Ethiopia. AKLDP has recently completed a mid-term evaluation of the project and the report is now available.
The PRIME project has results focusing on livestock production and market competitiveness, climate change adaptation, alternative livelihoods, knowledge management, and nutrition. The project is implemented in parts of Afar, Oromia and Somali regions of Ethiopia, and the project budget is approximately US$53 million.
The mid-term evaluation describes the progress of the project to date, and makes recommendations for strengthening project management and performance.
