The AKLDP is currently preparing a report covering the five years of project activity since 2014. The report will highlight the project’s policy support to the Government of Ethiopia, as well as a range of studies, reviews and evaluations, and technical support to Ethiopia’s agriculture and food security coordination platforms.
This new study from the AKLDP re-examines mixed livestock-crop systems in drought prone areas with high levels of food insecurity and poverty. Covering areas of Amhara, Oromia and Tigray regions, the study makes recommendations for improving agriculture and livelihoods in both rain-fed systems and in areas with potential for irrigated agriculture.
